Why have a destination wedding?

A destination wedding combines the sweetness of a ceremony with the fun of a sunny vacation.  It’s a unique bonding experience giving you a whole week of fun together to build memories that will last a lifetime between both sides of the family.  Cost is another major factor as destination weddings are substantially less expensive than a traditional wedding at home.  We can plan a destination wedding on any budget contact us today!

How far in advance should I plan my destination wedding?

Ideally you want to start the planning roughly 12 - 15 months in advance of your special day.  This gives us time to research and put together the best scenario for you and make sure we have all the resort choices available that you might want.  Although time is important if you are considering a last minute destination wedding we can still help!  There is always something available for everyone we can make it work!

Do I need a wedding planner still?

The simple answer to that is no.  We will help you with all the initial planning and details and most resorts have an onsite wedding coordinator that will take over and help us plan all the finer details.  The onsite coordinators are also the ones who walk you through everything once you arrive on property. 

Is my marriage legal?

Of course!  A destination wedding held in any country is legal as long as you have a legal ceremony in the destination.  You just register your marriage license once it arrives to you back in Canada and you are all set.  There is symbolic wedding options in most destinations as well which is a non legal or renewal of vows ceremony but this is why you have us to make sure you have all the right arrangements made!

Is there a lot of legal requirements?

The legal requirements vary from country to country and have different degrees of difficulty.  This is something we will walk you through when picking a destination and make sure you are matched with a destination that best suits your needs.  These are the type of details we worry about not you, we just want you to be happy pack your bags and go have fun!

Do you only book certain resorts or destinations?

Although we have preferred resorts to use for destination weddings due to long standing excellent feedback and ease of weddings we aren’t tied to using those.  We can book you almost anything in the world that you heart desires we just recommend the preferred partners first as they are always known for excellence.

Do you charge fees?

We don’t charge any fees for our services.  We are so confident that you will be happy with our ability to help you that we don’t charge you any deposits to have us work with you.  We know we can earn your business with our expertise and fantastic customer service.  The only fees you pay are for the trip itself and the wedding package you chose.

How do we pay for our destination wedding?

The payment process is very simple.  If you are planning in advance yourself and your guests all pay a non refundable deposit for your package once it is chosen then your balance is generally due 60 days before you travel.  These rules do vary in some cases and is something we will go over with you in detail during the planning process. 

Do we get the best price with you?

We will always try our best to give you the best price possible on any travel package and offer very competitive rates.  If you do however receive a lower quote from any of our competitors we will be happy to consider a price match for you. 

What if our destination wedding is too expensive for our guests?

We are able to plan a destination wedding on any budget.  This is a major consideration in the initial planning process though.  You need to make sure to consult with your family and friends before you start planning and come up with a budget that everyone will be comfortable with.  Once we have that we can work our magic and find you something amazing!
